Edmonton – Canada’s hidden jewel

Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta and has grown from a population of around 10,000 to 1 million in the last 100 years. This growing, thriving city is home to West Edmonton Mall – the largest shopping mall in North America.

The North Saskatchewan River Valley offers a fantastic variety of outdoor activities. There are over 100 kilometres of recreational trails and many parks, including Fort Edmonton Park, which is Canada’s largest historical park.
